Purpose and Values:
Words in Action provides counselling and professional services grounded in inclusive, ethical practice, guided by the AASW Code of Ethics. We are committed to social justice, respect for persons, and professional integrity.

Service Delivery:
We offer services across Australia via telehealth (video or phone). This allows for flexible, accessible support regardless of location. All sessions are conducted in secure, confidential environments to protect your privacy.

Referrals and Funding:
Clients may access services through self-referral, as well as via Medicare, the NDIS, or other approved referral pathways. Please contact us to discuss eligibility and relevant documentation.

Confidentiality and Its Limits:
All information shared is treated confidentially, in accordance with professional and legal obligations. However, there are limits to confidentiality. We may need to share information without consent if:
- There is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or others
- We are legally required to do so (e.g. by court order or mandatory reporting laws)
We aim to discuss any such circumstances with you wherever possible and appropriate.

Inclusive Practice:
We welcome and affirm people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Discrimination, harassment, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated within our services or community.
